Your Opportunity as the Manager, Demand Planning
Location: Orrville, Corporate Offices
Work Arrangements: Hybrid, 30% in office expectations
In this role you will:
Drive the integrated demand planning process (S&OP) to ensure cross-functional collaboration of Marketing, Sales and financial objectives.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with customer accounts and key functions such as sales, marketing, finance, operations and supply planning is essential
Leads and manages the demand planning organization, drives skill and people development, and drives continuous improvement
Track and report performance metrics of WAPE and Bias/ analyze forecast performance and drive year over year improvements in accuracy through process improvements (customer level forecasting, demand shaping techniques, etc.) Identify and report on root cause and corrective actions
Compiles and analyzes historical trends, promotions, market trends, IRI data and opportunities that drive the forecast process
Provides analytical support for Marketing initiatives and analogy forecasting; lead planning process for new product launches during pre and post launch phases
Manage on-going volume forecast to drive high levels of customer service while minimizing excess and obsolescence risks
Build strong relationships with peer group on all Supply & Demand teams. Share best practices and continuous improvement opportunities.

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
5 years of relevant supply chain experience
Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills
Requires strong skills in spreadsheet, database management and forecasting/inventory management
Demonstrates experience speaking in front of large groups of people, including management
Experience managing others
Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process
Leadership skills include: ability to take initiative; the ability to influence others and build relationships across multiple functional leaders; balance analytical skills with collaboration and strong business acumen
Ability to drive action and influence decision making at all levels of the organization
Ability to anticipate business challenges
Ability to develop and recommend process, system improvements
Ability to solve problems and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Ability to differentiate areas of responsibility and when to elevate to appropriate level of organization for effective/efficient decision making
Limited travel required
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
Experience with formal sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes
Knowledge of Forecasting software related to demand planning
Self-motivated, takes initiative; good follow-up
