Job Description

The role of the Sr Manager Research & Insights is to lead, define and monitor research initiatives across competitive intelligence, product usability and Brand perception. Responsible for analyzing customer and competitive data, forming insights and identifying opportunities to address the needs of our veterinarian customers and strengthen our market position. Partner closely with Marketing, Product and Commercial teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead research strategy and design: set priorities and roadmap for ongoing and opportunistic research studies to align with business and strategic priorities.
* Communicate research findings to guide decision making, strategy and investment. Identify key insights and translate them into actionable recommendations.
* As needed, select and manage external research vendors and consultants.
* Build a central database of insights to serve as a reference library for leaders across the organization.
* Plan, execute and manage all aspects of research studies - including research method, recruitment, data collection, analysis and reporting.
* Identify and explore process, procedures, and tools supporting best in-class capabilities.

COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)
* Minimum of 12+ years of experience in conducting a broad range of research studies (i.e., Competitive Intelligence, CX, Pricing, Value/Offer Definition, Win/Loss, Usability) and collaborating with business leaders across Marketing, Product and Sales.
* Qualitative research, including traditional focus groups, ethnographies, in-depth interviews as well as online techniques.
* Quantitative research, including market surveys, tracking studies, creative testing, and knowledge of advanced analytical techniques.
* Knowledge of survey tools including SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Pendo and SPSS
* Data Visualization and ability to translate data into stories and actionable insights.
* Development of Research roadmap and internal stakeholder communications plan.

Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location.

However, the pay range for this position is as follows.
$86,300.00 - $160,300.00
