Designer Drafter - AutoCAD, Architectural, Structural & MEP - Wooster, OH - JOB 23-00412

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

A consulting firm is seeking to hire a Designer Drafter to work on a variety of facility projects doing Architectural, Structural & MEP work.

REQUIREMENTS
• Associate degree in Architectural Drafting or another related field.
• Seeking candidates with 2 years of design drafting experience.
• Must be capable of preparing construction drawings from architect, engineer and/or client sketches in commercial and residential design.
• Basic knowledge of project workflow. Pre-design through permit acquisition.
• Experience with Architectural design concepts, practices, construction documents and procedures.
• Able to do foundation plans, floor plans, equipment plans, finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, interior details, MEP drawings, etc.
• Able to generate construction and/or bid documents, shop drawings.
• Able to go out and do field measure of existing buildings.
• Must be proficient with AutoCAD. Revit is a plus.
• MS Office; Word & Excel proficient
• Proficient in different construction types and detailing for pre-engineered metal buildings, pole barns, and conventional framed buildings.
• Typical projects will be commercial, manufacturing, warehousing, hospitality, office and retail.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
