Canton Drop Forge, a leading producer of large, closed die forgings in Canton, Ohio, is seeking Tool & Die Machinists to join their team!
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to perform milling, deburring, sawing, and sanding
- Will change dies and support tooling at CNC Machines
- Reading blueprints or job order for product specifications
- Document results of machined tooling
- Load and unload cutting tools
- Prepare dies/support tools as needed
- Complete paperwork as needed for each job and maintain paperwork in an orderly fashion
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with CNC and Machine set-up
- Experience with Manual machining
- Must be able to read and perform math calculations
- Ability to use basic handheld measuring tools
- Experience reading and interpreting drawings
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize their importance is required
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand 100% of the time
- Job involves standing, walking, twisting, turning, reaching, bending, climbing steps, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds, and push/pull up to 100 pounds occasionally

WAGE: $18.76 - $26.95/hour (increases every 6 months until reaching top rate)
DETAILS: Full-Time/ Train on 1st shift, Migrate to 2nd shift after Probation (90 days)
