Responsibilities

MTSI is seeking to hire a Manpower and Personnel Support Specialist to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. Position provides human resources/manpower support in a coordinating/liaison role between the CTR, Government Staff, and the AFLCMC customer.

To serve as a Manpower and Personnel Support Specialist with the following responsibilities:

1) Plan, schedule, and carry out major projects concerning all manpower and personnel-related programs.

2) Advise leadership on manpower and personnel requirements.

3) Provide comprehensive manpower, personnel, and organizational analysis of the diverse organization's functions, work processes, and manpower requirements to improve mission effectiveness, resource efficiency, and resource savings.

4) Act as the primary interface with Directorate representatives, and Functional Managers.

5) Develop plans, policies, and services for manpower and personnel supporting the mission.

6) Administer all personnel programs including military manning and civilian position management program actions and serve as the primary point-of-contact and liaison with the Directorate and other manpower agencies.

7) Assess and evaluate manpower planning, implementation and coordination actions associated with all unit billets on the Unit Manning Document (officer, enlisted and civilian).

8) Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
3+ years' experience in military and civilian personnel processes and federal employee policies and processes to include the following: Update military personnel data system (PDS) records. Ensure compliance with personnel policies, directives, and procedures. Monitor retention programs and provide reports and statistics. Create, maintain, and audit personnel records. Update computerized personnel data. Maintain files of correspondence, directives, instructions, and other publications. Maintain and monitor duty status changes.

Desired Skills:

Bachelor's Degree

3+ years' experience in military and civilian personnel processes and federal employee policies and processes
