Ohio Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. Is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals with mental health conditions. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of mental health professionals
- Provide direct support to individuals with mental health conditions, including counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention
- Monitor and document patient progress, behaviors, and responses to treatment
- Assist with medical documentation and maintain accurate records of patient information
- Work closely with individuals on developing coping skills
Requirements:
- Applicants must have a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or an equivalent thereof. Must be licensed in the State of Ohio through the CSWMFT Board and in good standing.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards individuals with mental health conditions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
