Job Description:

Real-Time ICCP/SCADA Analyst
1 year contract with potential to hire
$45 - $70/hr depending on experience
Hybrid or remote, depending on location
Provide technical support for Real Time Communication and Data Exchange including but not limited to Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Distribution Management System (DMS), Inter Control Center Communication Protocol (ICCP), Energy Management (EMS) Systems, and other technical infrastructure used in Operation Centers. Position requires a high degree of adaptability, and a focus on meeting customer needs and continuous improvement in the systems supported.
Assistance providing support to problem resolution with Senior Level guidance.
Understanding of specific equipment and software support activities.
Maintain reliable operations of the SCADA, DMS/ EMS, and ICCP systems with Senior Level guidance.
Assistance with maintaining real-time data interfaces with Senior Level Guidance.
Look for opportunities to improve tools, software, data and related services.
Assistance with keeping SCADA, DMS/ EMS, and ICCP tools up-to-date with current technologies with Senior Level Guidance.
Ability to build and maintain custom SCADA and DMS/EMS one-line displays.
Ability to perform modeling, check-out and commissioning of Remote Terminal Units Real-time Data with Senior Level Guidance.
Ability to build and maintain SCADA, DMS/ EMS, and ICCP models with Senior Level Guidance.
Assistance with implementing internal SCADA, DMS/ EMS, and ICCP standards.
Look for opportunities to improve/implement Human Performance Initiative rules and Key Performance Indicators around SCADA processes.
Assistance in identifying issues with processes and tools and provide possible solutions and provide input to more seasoned personnel.
Assistance to support stakeholders with common SCADA related issues.
Implements standards in appropriate measures with guidance from higher-level team members.
Assists higher level team members with overall SCADA compliance items.
Participate in training activities as part of advancement for other team and group members
Minimum Requirements: Education requirements: Associates Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related Technical field or higher from an Accredited College/University or high school diploma and two years related military or electric utility technical experience.
In addition to above mentioned work experience: Three years DMS/EMS/SCADA/ICCP experience with Associates Degree and Five years of experience with a high school diploma. Individuals with a Bachelors Degree and 1 year of DMS/EMS/SCADA/ICCP experience may be considered for entry into the organization at this level in addition to the experience noted above.
*Must have previous experience working with ICCP and SQL Database.
