We are seeking a Program Supervisor for our Work Adjustment Training services.  We are seeking a creative, people-oriented individual to supervise staff in the development and implementation of program training goals. 

The Work Adjustment Program Supervisor provides direct supervision, support, and training to Work Adjustment Program Coordinators, Personal Care Attendants, and Direct Support Professionals in the design and implementation of Vocational Habilitation/Work Adjustment programming.  Assures necessary staff coverage for all positions supervised, and facilitates communication with referral sources, other Goodwill services, and residential providers.

Applicants should enjoy a busy, multi-faceted working environment and should possess excellent communication skills. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
  • Two years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities/DD;
  • One-year supervisory experience required.  
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check, and various abuser registry checks.
  • Knowledge of positive behavior management principles and general training strategies for adult learners.  Understanding of the functional impact of developmental disabilities on work performance.  Ability to clearly and accurately communicate training information, performance feedback and program data to Goodwill staff and referral sources.  Knowledge of safety and infection control procedures relative to attendant care functions.  Familiarity of DOL regulations relevant to 14C.  Knowledge of CARF, Medicaid and ODDD requirements.
