Job Description

The On-Site Labor Admin will organize and coordinate labor duties and office procedures for Babcock & Wilcox Solar Energy Inc. This individual will work with and support the Construction Operations team and project sites. This candidate must be comfortable working independently, as well as in a team environment in an on-site location, and have a demonstrable working knowledge of construction payroll practices. This opportunity is a temporary full-time, 6 moths approx. project -based position.

On-site locations include:

Girard, PA

Tionesta, PA

Franklin, PA

Responsibilities Include:
  • Manages daily sign in sheets, to include maintaining a job site roster, entering time and uploading the sign in sheets daily.
  • Coordinates with temp labor companies to ensure accuracy of time entered. Will coordinate the reporting out each week with the signed executive summary to each temp labor company and is responsible to upload all of the signed executive summary to Sharepoint. This will include Temp and BW labor.
  • Enter time into Foundation and ExakTime.
  • Ensures dispatches are received prior to workers starting
  • Tracks daily headcount on site.
  • Facilitates the full onboarding procedure for all project site new hires.
  • Coordinate the completion of all the new direct hire BW labor onboarding documentation and submit to payroll.
  • Confirm all new hires complete safety orientation
  • Documents late arrivals or early quits for payroll
  • Informs and consults with project team regarding areas of concern
  • Safeguards Company property and resources; ensures that policies and procedures are followed at jobsite
  • Ensures that procedures are adhered to on all job sites
  • Supports the Project Manager and site superintendent with daily activities
  • Support with coordinating equipment and consumable items for sites.
  • Perform other duties as required
  • High school diploma or GED required with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Expected Hours: 40 to 50 hours/week Monday to Friday, some Saturday work
  • Travel is required, must be able to work onsite and remote as required
  • Must be detail oriented and proactive
  • Maintain flexibility in work assignments
  • Exhibit good communication skills and is self-driven
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task and manage priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Foundation and ExakTime is a plus
