Job Title: IT Help Desk

 Location:  Murrysville, PA, Youngstown, OH, Johnstown, PA

 About the role and team

As an IT Help Desk, you will be a valued and trusted member of the NCDMM team, reporting to the IT Infrastructure & Facilities Manager. You will help with IT related tasks, specifically being responsible for helping users with day-to-day computer and software issues, as well as being highly involved in strengthening our Cyber Security Posture.

 Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Help secure LAN, WAN & Cloud Infrastructure
  • Work with Azure Endpoint Manager and the Azure Security and Compliance Center
  • Working with Azure Cloud Services and Azure Active Directory
  • SharePoint site administration
  • Helping setup new hardware
  • General help desk support
  • Website content development
  • Website management, maintenance, and administration
  • Direct project support
  • Other activities as directed by direct supervisor

 

On a typical day, you might:

  • Setup a new SharePoint Collaboration Site, invite members and troubleshoot any issues
  • Help a user setup a private channel in Microsoft Teams
  • Add new custom entities to Microsoft Dynamics
  • Add an alias to a users email in Exchange or create a new shared mailbox
  • Lead a Cyber Security Training
  • Help user quarantine detected malware on their machine
  • Help define application requirements for direct projects
  • Work with the VP and COO to define website changes and implement them using WordPress

 

About our ideal candidate:

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • You are a quick learner
  • You would be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • You would have experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Dynamics, and Teams
  • You have a passion for computers and IT
  • You have experience or knowledge of general website administration
  • Experience with WordPress is a plus

Position Title:  Engagement Manager

 

Position Type:  Full-Time

 

Location:  HybridYoungstown, OH

 

Position Summary

As Engagement Manager, you will be part of a diverse team that is collaborating to grow and mature the additive manufacturing ecosystem, which is comprised of membership, government stakeholders, and the larger AM community. The Engagement Manager will be responsible for membership acquisition and retention, developing and curating the Northeast Ohio additive manufacturing community, generate and leverage regional ecosystem data for decision making, and working with the Ecosystem Director and larger team on ecosystem expansion activities across Ohio, the Midwest, and the Nation. As owner of these activities and primary contact for Membership, the Engagement Manager will play a critical role in delivering value to membership, the additive manufacturing ecosystem, and the larger mission.

 

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, communicative, and creative team player with a passion for additive manufacturing and customer service. They bring applicable experience in driving stakeholder engagement, economic development expertise, and growing ecosystem and communities. The candidate is also detail and task oriented as this role requires the team member to both think strategically and execute tasks operationally.

 

The team culture is innovative, creative, and fast paced. Members of the team need to be adaptive and thrive in an ambiguous environment. This role is part of a collaborative team, but a candidate with a "self-starter" personality who has high emotional intelligence will thrive in this role.

 

Essential Functions

  • Evaluate and continually improve the membership model to drive growth in membership numbers, diversity, and revenue.
  • Develop an effective and efficient membership recruitment and acquisition process, including lead generation, lead conversion, and customer relationship management process.
  • Lead and manage membership resources and processes, including the role of Membership Coordinator, membership-centric tools, and content.
  • Build on existing Northeast Ohio partnership engagement opportunities and convert relationships to tangible impact drivers for America Makes.
  • Collaborate with America Makes Leadership to identify industry centric gaps in stakeholder composition and develop plans to proactively recruit members to support the mission.
  • Seek and leverage data sources to inform decision making of self, the larger America Makes team, and the additive manufacturing ecosystem.
  • Grow and maintain an inclusive, diverse, and engaged team culture who is aligned around membership value generation and performance.
  • Collaborate with the Communication and Event team on developing and executing the America Makes “convening” strategy and plan, driving stakeholder awareness of the Institute’s mission.  
  • Support the Event Manager with growing the impact of the annual America Makes events, including identifying and securing speakers, sponsorships, and increasing the attendance numbers of non-America Makes members.

 

 

Required Education and Experience

  • You have a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree is preferred) in Business or related field as well as five to seven (5-7) years of experience in a membership / customer-service centric position.
  • You have successfully identified and converted customer acquisition leads through understanding and addressing stakeholder needs.
  • You bring networking acumen to the table as the role requires significant engagement with members, stakeholders, and government partners.
  • You have demonstrated ability to lead stakeholder and partnership development programs, designed to increase engagement, drive mission impact, and grow ecosystem value generation.
  • You like to travel to meet and convene the ecosystem at trade shows, conferences, and industry gatherings.
  • You have relevant experience operating in a technology maturation and advanced manufacturing space.
