Shipping and Receiving employees are responsible for maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming as well as outgoing product shipments.  Duties include unloading delivery trucks, checking incoming shipments against product invoices, organizing, and storing shipments until outgoing order requests are received.

Shipping & Receiving Duties/Responsibilities

Shipping and Receiving employees are to keep track of shipment schedules for both incoming and outgoing shipments.

Verify items received in inventory for damages or discrepancies.

Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods.

Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list.

Cleaning area throughout the day and at the end of the day.

Work through a logistics-based program to facilitate the scheduling of carriers for daily pickups.

Daily UPS orders to be processed using UPS World Ship program.

Daily use of battery-operated forklift, so certification a plus, however TLI will train.
