Job Description: Magnetech Industrial Services in Massillon, OH, is hiring a full-time Motor Winder.

Job Summary:

Perform the testing, rewind and refurbishment of AC and DC motors. May perform operations involving dismantling, rewinding, repairing, reassembling and testing motors. Must have ability to read/review work prints and determine materials necessary for winding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to operate machinery to wind coils used in electrical equipment and instruments.
• Use of measuring devices, (i.e.:  ruler, micrometer, vernier, etc.), hand tools and testing devices (i.e.:  megger, voltmeter, etc.).
• Understands how to take connections data and develop wiring diagrams.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Works under general supervision.

Experience, Skills and Experience:                                

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• May be required to meet certain certifications in field.
• Ability to read/follow verbal work instructions and complete required documents.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Specific Qualifications:

Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen, and when applicable if duties involve operating motor vehicle must be able to pass motor vehicle record check.

Details: Full time. 1st Shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). 50+ hours/week. Sunday through Saturday. $18.00 to $22.00/hour (based on experience).

Qualifications: High school diploma / GED. Must have at least 1 year of experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
