Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to join our team in Ohio!

Our professionals perform terrestrial and boundary surveys, construction stake-outs and as-built surveys for existing and new residential and commercial properties. Our capabilities also include the use of hi-definition laser scanners which enable our surveyors to collect data from a multitude of subjects including complex facilities, buildings and assets, bridges, structures, and roadways all of which depend upon our specialized measurement equipment and experienced operators.

Responsibilities

This position may include work as a leader of one, two or three-person crews.
Survey projects include design surveys, right-of-way surveys, topographic surveys, aerial ground control, boundary and ALTA/NSPS surveys.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED is required.
Prior crew chief experience is a plus.
Candidates must be proficient with data collectors, data collection techniques, robotic instruments, conventional field note-keeping, total stations and leveling. Experience with or ability to learn the use of 3D scanners.
Candidate must be a self-starter, with little need for supervision once provided with a work assignment.
Must be able to work in inclement weather.
Willingness to travel.
A valid driver's license and clean driving record required. MVR will be checked and monitored.

Requires a pre-employment drug screen and will require ongoing participation in the employer's random drug and alcohol testing program.
