Job Purpose

This position is responsible reviewing closing documents for accuracy and completeness. This position is responsible for booking loans to the loan origination system and uploading the closing documents to Encompass and the imaging system, Image Center. This position is responsible for delivering loans to investors. This position is responsible for government insuring. This position provides support to all internal departments and bank partners as needed.

Job Duties

Verify signed closing documents are accurate and complete.
Verify trailing documents are accurate and complete.
Acquire missing documents and facilitate correction of documents as needed.
Book serviced loans through workflow process.
Upload closing documents and trailing documents to the loan origination system, Encompass, and the imaging system, Image Center.
Complete investor transmittal forms.
Submit up-front fees associated with government loans.
Request and process scheduled payments.
Deliver FHA case binders to HUD for insuring.
Register MIN# on MERS and transfer servicing rights within required timeframes.
Process mortgage and insurance record transfers for servicing released loans.
Communicate with investors to satisfy all post-closing discrepancies.
Responsible for understanding investor, agency and government products and programs.
Responsible for understanding the Bank's policies, procedures, products and services.
Will perform special projects as assigned.

Education, Experience and Job Skills

Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
2 + years of post-closing or related mortgage experience required
Knowledge of Reg B (ECOA), Reg C (HMDA), Reg X (TRID) and Reg Z (TILA) requirements required
Knowledge of Fannie, FHA, VA, and USDA programs preferred
Knowledge of Encompass a plus
Ability to work in a fast paced, task and detailed oriented environment required
Proficient use of technology required
Strong oral and written communication skills required

Basic Qualifications:

2 + years of post-closing or related mortgage experience required
Knowledge of Reg B (ECOA), Reg C (HMDA), Reg X (TRID) and Reg Z (TILA) requirements required
