Description
Position Summary


Operate and maintain our HP Indigo Digital Presses.
Sets-up print jobs in accordance with job ticket and product specification documents.
Monitor the digital printing presses to maintain print quality and optimize productive and minimize waste.
Perform adjustments accurately, efficiently, and according to procedure-minimizing unexpected downtime and service calls.
Perform daily maintenance, on schedule according to procedure to promote machine stability and dependability.
Follows all safety guidelines for proper material handling, machine, and tooling use.
Support/work all aspects of the comping process as needed - CAD table, hand assembly, shrink-wrapping, packaging and shipping.

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results


Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks.
Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a busy work atmosphere.
Knowledge of digital printing process.
Knowledge of post-press finishing process, i.e. cutting, binding, and shrink-wrapping.
Intermediate computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
Sense of urgency in relation to meeting production goals.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Ability to understand, remember, and apply/follow written and verbal instructions.

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements

This position requires the following knowledge and skills:


High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous equipment operation experience in the print industry.
Basic computer skills
Detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated.
Positive outlook, goal-oriented, and reliable
Critical thinking
Proficiency in reading measurements
Basic math
Read and follow instructions.
Self-motivated and team player
Knowledge of print industry
