CAS is currently seeking a Senior Graphics Designer. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Position Summary:

The Graphic Designer creates various visual design assets, including key facets of the CAS website, print materials, social media, and environmental branding to promote CAS to a growing global audience. This candidate must have a passion for delivering quality work that encourages peers and partners to be forward-thinking and have solid project management skills to react to and prioritize tight timelines while adhering to and contributing to the CAS Brand Standards.

The ideal candidate for this job...

Is not new to marketing, can work well from a solid brief, and likely have done some B2B marketing in the past.

Has a mastery of fundamental design principles, including layout and visual hierarchy, and works well within an established design framework and corporate standard.

Likes to work with people. The people of CAS are its greatest asset.

Has a critical mind, realizes the gift of solid feedback is more than a cliche, and is constantly seeking ways to improve upon yesterday.

Is comfortable with occasional ambiguity and not afraid to ask questions.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate, brainstorm, strategize, and develop designs based on various materials, including web pages, presentations, signage, internal communications, email, social media, newsletters, events, and marketing materials.

Execute integrated campaigns surrounding the target audience with opportunities to engage and learn more about our solutions.

Execute solid design principles incorporating localization and translations to resonate with a global audience.

Work with a diverse team of professionals who are passionate about doing great work and are not afraid to learn new things.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related course of study

8+ years' experience in graphic design for a company or agency

Expert-level abilities with Adobe Suite software

Delivering results in the digital space, understanding responsive design, user experience, search engine optimization, and email deliverability.

Have a keen eye for design and aesthetics.

Attention to visual details.

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members.

Preferred:

Experience designing for global audiences.

Experience designing for a scientific community.

Knowledge and ability to work in Adobe Experience Manager.

Experience designing in Ceros or a similar platform.

Experience leveraging content management systems like Webflow and Hubspot to tell effective stories online.

Experience with motion graphics.

Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools
