About the role

As a Quality Inspector I, you'll be responsible for inspecting and monitoring the quality of incoming and outgoing of electronic products for the Integration department. As a (QC) also called Quality Controller are members of a control audit team that inspects operational systems and manufacturing processes to ensure specifications are meet. You will obtain knowledge on assignments that are primarily complex in nature of business across all platforms. Ensure customer expectations are meet per customer request per standard of work. You will coordinate with the team on corrective and preventive actions on non-conformities if expectations have not been met.

What you'll do

Ensure order complies with the customer requirements and other specifications per SOW.

Perform inline and functional inspections during production operation per company process and additional specification requirements.

Inspect and reject outgoing product due to customer expectations and other specifications requirements per the MIL STD sampling plan per quantity of order.

Document results of inspection and conformances within the ERP system (CIS) and Quality checklist.

Populate data/reports from findings and aid with the QRQC process.

What we're looking for

Background and Experience

1 year of Quality experience in Electronic Manufacturing

Basic understanding of Computer Hardware preferred.

Education & Certification

High School Graduate with some Electronic work experience

Other Education/Certification

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Able to walk and stand during work hours in a temperature-controlled environment.

Able to work multiple projects or assignments on daily basis.

Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge in ESD testing.

Knowledge of Microsoft software tools and system applications.

Able to learn and understand processes of the work environment.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Able to communicate and report to QA/MFG supervisor of any out of process findings.

Able to effectively take notice of important details.

Able to work in a team-oriented work environment.

Able to work mandatory overtime as needed due to needs of the business.
