Job Description

The University of Findlay (www.findlay.edu) is seeking a full-time entry level Accounting Generalist. The Accounting Generalist reports directly to the Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager. This position provides administrative and clerical support for Students Accounts and Financial Services within the Division of Business Affairs. This position performs cashiering duties, answers non-routine correspondence and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information. Requires exceptional customer service performance. Deals with a diverse group of internal and external callers and visitors to campus. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload. This position monitors past due accounts, working with collection agencies, and assists with the functions of both Student Accounts and Financial Services as directed.

 

A high school diploma is required, an associate’s degree is preferred, with one year of administrative office experience. Candidates must possess knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel. Preference given to candidates with additional years of administrative office experience.
