Job Description: Our Caring Hands Home Care, based in Massillon, OH, has multiple Direct Care Professional (Full Time & Part Time / Second Shift / Third Shift) openings. These professionals provide care for individuals with disabilities.
Main duties include:
- Following individual support plan (ISP)
- Helping individuals complete basic personal care and housekeeping tasks, meal preparation and laundry
- Transporting individuals to appointments and other social events
- Keeping individuals safe from potential health hazards in their surrounding environments
- Ability to react quickly in emergency situations
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their families
Details: Full time and part time. Second Shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.), Third Shift (11:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.). Hours/week vary. Sunday through Saturday, Rotating. $14.00/hour.
Qualifications: High school diploma / GED. CPR and first-aid certifications required (training provided). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Driver’s License Requirement(s): Must Have Valid Driver’s License.
