Salary Range: $23.00 To 25.00 Hourly

Valtir is currently looking to hire 1st Shift production Welder for our plant in Lima, OH.

$23.00 (+$2.00 per hour shift premium)

Must have the ability to work Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:30pm, Saturday 5am - 1pm

$3,000 sign on bonus. $1,000 paid out at 30 days, $1,000 paid out at 90 days & $1,000 paid out at 180 days.

$750 attendance bonus.  $250 will be paid out at your 1st, 2nd & 3rd month for perfect attendance.

Valtir is hiring a production welders to support our Lima, OH manufacturing facility by applying appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate and repair parts of metal or other materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints schematics and sketches using manual and/or semi-automatic welding equipment.

Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:

• Performs flat fillet welds
• Fits and welds simple assemblies
• Accurately measures within specified tolerances
• Reads blueprints
• May operate automatic welding equipment (robotic welding)
• Observes all standard safety practices and maintains and completes all required records
• Follows all safety rules and practices
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives

Working Environment:

• Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy
• The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant
• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.
• Dependable job attendance is expected
• Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of related work experience
• Works on routine manufacturing assignments that have clear goals and standard procedures
• Understands Oxy Fuel Burning
• Basic Understanding of Carbon Arching
• Ability to learns job skill, company policies and processes to do routine tasks
• Ability to follow verbal or simple written instructions and procedures
• Receives detailed instructions and close supervision
• Ability to fit and tack weld subassemblies or to jacket
• Accurately measures within specified tolerances
