Job Description Summary:

The Enterprise Data and Analytics Governance is seeking a Data and Analytics Governance Analyst to join the team. This person will play a critical role in the development and implementation of an effective data and analytics governance program and will partner with the Lines of Business to improve management and quality of data. The right candidate will need exceptional skills in customer service, communication, business process, and problem-solving skills.

Job Description:

The Senior Data and Analytics Management Analyst is primarily responsible for implementing and maintaining an effective data and analytics governance program. This person will play a critical role in executing procedures and best practices through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Success criteria include leveraging critical thinking, subject expertise, and anticipation of business needs from technology and business partners to provide solutions that meet the organization's needs; leading conversations with business partners and effectively communicate with all stakeholders; and providing solutions based on an understanding of impacts / intersections with other business partners and lines of business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Contribute, maintain, provide guidance and support to stakeholders on policies, standards, and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Develop and implement processes and procedures

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process change, measuring key performance indicators and making necessary adjustments or continuous improvement

Operationalize policies and standards developed by the Program, supporting compliance across the enterprise

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement

Execute processes and controls on a regular cadence

Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on principles, policies, and practices.

Develop collaborative relationships with business and technology partners, communicating key activities, strategies, and impacts.

Communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption Program initiatives.

Lead data and analytics working groups, fostering collaboration and decision-making related to policies and standards.

Viewed as a trusted advisor in a given field for organization

Build and maintain Microsoft Teams and SharePoint sites for the organization

Build and maintain Tableau dashboards/visualizations

Stay current with regulations, industry trends, and emerging technologies related to the Program

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in Business Process, Data Governance, Information Governance, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Statistics (or other related field) with at least 6 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree (or its equivalent) in Business Process, Data Governance, Information Governance, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Statistics (or other related field) with at least 4 years of relevant experience

Proficient in:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Intermediate knowledge and experience in policy and standard implementation

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite to include Excel / PowerPoint/ Word / Visio

Intermediate/advanced data visualization using tools such as Tableau

Intermediate/advanced SharePoint development and PowerApps

Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred skills:

Experience working within a data governance program or related initiative

Intermediate understanding of data/information governance principles, frameworks, and best practices

Experience with data/information governance tools, technologies, and methodology

Experience in project management and change management

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000 to $120,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
