Job Short Description: Earthley is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a people development and change management specialist supervising our production department. This role is crucial in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, driving employee growth, and effectively managing change in a fast-paced and evolving manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing people, adept at change management, and committed to achieving tangible results.

Production Supervisor Profile:

People Development:

  • Design, implement, and assess training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of learning and growth by identifying individual and team development needs.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create personalized development plans for employees.

Change Management:

  • Lead and support the execution of change initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to articulate the purpose and benefits of organizational changes to employees.
  • Provide guidance to leadership and employees on adapting to change, overcoming resistance, and embracing new ways of working.

Performance Improvement:

  • Work closely with managers to identify performance gaps and implement strategies to address them.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of development initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of development programs, adjusting as needed.

Collaboration and Relationship Building:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align people development strategies with business goals.
  • Build strong relationships with employees at all levels to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership in matters related to people development and change management.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and work with members of leadership to implement innovative solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees production department at a high level
  • Identifies leading indicators and KPIs
  • Analyzes sales data to set production priorities
  • Completes quarterly performance & metric reviews
  • Prepares data for and leads daily huddles to communicate current goals
  • Verifies data with team leads to ensure accuracy of production schedule
  • Regularly audits team members work, IOSs, processes
  • Trains new team leads
  • Stay current with general machinery operations/troubleshooting
  • Responsible for staffing department
  • Maintains employees' timecards and schedules using current software
  • Fluent in IOS; coaches & trains new and existing team members to become fluent

Skill Sets:

  • 3+ years in a supervisory role required
  • Fluent in Microsoft Teams
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel
  • Proven ability to Manage Projects
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma preferred
