Job Description: Ironworkers Local 550 in Canton, OH, is accepting applications for multiple full-time Ironworker Apprentice positions for a 4-year apprenticeship.
*** INCREASED WAGES ***
Ironworker Apprentices will learn structural steel erection, reinforcing steel installation, rigging, ornamental glass and glazing installation, certified welding and pre-engineered building erection and sheeting.
- Local 550’s Journeyman Scale is currently $34.70
- First-Year Apprenticeship Wages start at $22.56/hour with additional wage increases of $1.32 every 6 months over a 4-year period plus benefits
- Must have a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, grade transcripts, if in the military a copy of the DD214, birth certificate, Social Security card, proof of residence and 2 letters of recommendation.

Details: Full time. First Shift. Hours/week (varies). Sunday through Saturday. $22.56/hour (starting wage - $1.32 increase every 6 months over a 4-year period) to $34.70/hour (Journeyman).
Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Driver’s License Requirement(s): Must Have Valid Driver’s License.
