CNC Press Brake Operator
Buckeye Shapeform, a Columbus, Ohio well established metal fabrication and deep draw metal forming manufacturing company, has an immediate opening for a press brake operator.
Buckeye Shapeform is ISO9001 / AS9100 certified providing electronic enclosures to a variety of industries including audio/video, telecommunications, medical and transportation. Additionally, Buckeye Shapeform possesses precision deep draw metal forming capabilities providing mission critical components to military and aerospace applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Programs, sets-up, and operates press brake to form a variety of sheet metal and steel plate parts. Checks work to templates or drawings using scale, square, or other instruments to determine conformity.
- Reads, understands, and follows work orders, blue prints, and measuring apparatus.
- Evaluates job write-ups to ensure that parts are formed in the correct order.
- Correctly positions part on die.
- Checks parts to ensure machine is running correctly using various measuring tools.
- Ensures that safety equipment is working and adjustments are made as required.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three to six months experience in similar position.
- Mathematical skills as related to the position.
