YOUR ROLE

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Accountable for leading, directing and managinginbound site operationsto ensureconsistent high levelservice quality and conducting transportation in a safe manner while providing maximum customer satisfaction,profitable, cost-efficientoperations, and compliance with company policies and procedures, ISOstandards andSarbanes Oxley requirements, and other regulatory guidelines. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
Lead, direct, and manage safe inbound shuttle operations (supplier pick-ups to locations) to ensure that the driver operations staff executes service agreements at, or above the customer's standards
Maximize profitability through superior customer service, effective and prompt communications, and follow-up on all pending matters with the customer or suppliers
Knowledge of Paragon (Aptean) routing software or like to create dynamic daily routing of supplier provided volume or via similar routing software programs and methodology to create efficient and optimized routing
Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules,and adjusts accordinglyto ensureadequate staffinglevelsthat supportoperational demands and business objectives
Conduct safety meetings and administer a proactive safety focused operation with driver buy-in
Provide instructions to drivers on routing and proper route compliance standards
Ensure that freight is being moved in a safe and timely manner utilizingappropriate equipment and tools
Utilize superior communications skills to motivate staff and develop effective working relationships with drivers, customer contacts, and suppliers
Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA and CEVA requirements and regulations
Personally coach,train and mentor direct reports through trainingand quality management activities
Conduct annual performance reviews for all staff within department
Address all employee performance problems promptly and directly in accordance with CEVA personnel policies and procedures
Perform other duties as needed.
