Line Operator, Day & Night Shift

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts
Pay Rate: $17 per hour ($18 per hour for Night Shift)
Background:
- Works under general direction of Production Supervisor
- Perform duties directly related to production including operating processing line for daily production, production rates, and maintenance of equipment and building
Tasks:
- Performs operational duties as assigned by Production Supervisor Operates machines by engaging controls; regulates machine flow, speed, and/or temperature; stops, clears, and resets machine when malfunctions or jams occur
- Operates forklifts in handling of finished goods, steel by-product, trash, and other duties as assigned
- Perform general equipment and building maintenance (corrective and preventative tasks) as assigned by Production Supervisor
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is not required but preferred
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating a forklift and skid steer is not required but preferred
- Be organized and self-motivated
- Adapt to rapidly changing priorities based on business needs
- Work independently within a team environment
- Follow established policies and procedures
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
