Payrate : $35 to $40/hr. on w2 without benefits
Shift: 1st 8am - 5pm
Job Description
Labview, Python, C++, (programming) experience with PLCs, Relay Logic, heavy experience in PLCs is great, instrumentation (if they say they've got pressure transfers, coriolis meters, temperature sensors)
Setting up control circuits for the stands (could use PLCs or existing systems, similar to relay logic). Wiring transducers, setting up tests, equipment calibrations, mostly hydraulics, flow fuel through nozzles
Knowledge of diverse engineering topics like thermodynamics, heat-transfer, gas dynamics, fluid-flow and combustion of modern gas turbine engines.
Assist in updating stand control software in LabVIEW
Designs, builds, and uses test equipment using basic machining equipment and hand tools.
Designs and conducts tests to confirm product performance; plans for required analyses and completes required documentation.
May investigate and research new technologies to improve product cost and performance.
Has the ability to perform computer programming in at least one language, LabVIEW strongly preferred, MATLAB or Python preferred.
Education:
BS degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or related engineering field.
