Job Description
Job Purpose:
Serves customers by installing and repairing service; supervising staff.
Duties:
* Accomplishes installation/repair human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
* Meets installation/repair operational standards by contributing installation/repair information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
* Meets installation/repair financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
* Completes installations by receiving service orders; estimating time requirements; determining staff requirements; scheduling installation; monitoring completion; backing-up technicians; adjusting requirements; approving installation.
* Completes repairs by receiving repair orders; estimating time requirements; determining staff requirements; activating emergency call-out; scheduling repair; monitoring completion; backing-up technicians; adjusting requirements; approving repair.
* Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
* Maintains customer confidence by investigating customer complaints; explaining installation/repair procedures.
* Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
* Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
