Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a HVAC Building Automation Technician in either West Chester, Columbus or Dayon, OH areas.

What do you get to do in this position?
Services and maintains complex HVAC Building Automation Systems
Diagnoses and repairs complex control systems malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems and ability to test and write modifications in multiple languages of systems software.
Electrical troubleshooting knowledge
Provides sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings
Communicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
Meets regularly with customer to become familiar with operating problems.
Keeps customer informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or replacement.
Acts as a technical resource to team and customer as needed.
Provides start-up and checkout documentation to the installation team for use in commissioning and validation
Working knowledge of MS Office, File Structure, VISIO.
Knowledge of basic BACNET/LON/MODBUS protocols. Must be highly organized and possess the ability to work in a high paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet the schedules given by the leadership
Demonstrate the ability to operate independently and autonomously and take ownership of all tasks. Excellent oral and written communication skills and team oriented
Qualifications:
3+ years of field experience in the HVAC controls industry; preferably with troubleshooting, maintenance, and service
Technical, hands-on experience with commissioning and programming of DDC controls.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
The ability to communicate technical material to a nontechnical audience
Proficiency with writing code for controller sequence of operations
Proficiency with integration protocols (BACnet, Lon works, Modbus, etc.) .
Requirements:
Two-year (2) degree in a related technical field required or related work experience
Experience in HVAC building Automation a must!
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and general windows environment
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written skills
Customer-focused, results-oriented professional, and strong team player.
Self-starter that demonstrates initiative.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
