Procurement Supervisor - US Services

West Chester, OH (Cincinnati) or East / North Haven, CT (onsite 5 days / week initially but open to hybrid schedule after an initial acclimation period)

Purpose

This position willlead the Procurement and Upstream Supply Chain activities for US Services and work as a liaisonbetween Services, Global Supply Chain and Suppliers/Partners tocoordinate on various strategic initiatives encompassing the scope of procurement, purchasing and supply chain capabilities. Integral Role in ensuring procurement/purchasing strategy is being met for US Services for Power Services organization, in part for Ecofit scope in West Chester and North Haven.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Manage US Services Procurement Organization: Drive productivity savings in the organization based on negotiations and contracts. Ensuring the correct deployment of the general Purchasing Strategy of cost reduction initiatives in the plant.
  • Transforms procurement and purchasing strategies for the US Services Organization.
  • Contribute to the correct purchasing database maintenance via the regular and constant update of corresponding data.
  • Supporting the commodity management strategy for supplier consultation & selection including negotiating and managing contracts with local/specific suppliers (price, lead times, pay terms, inventory level, etc.).
  • Source and develop reliable suppliers resulting in the procurement of cost competitive, high-quality materials with timely delivery and minimal inventory. Inventory parameters to be pre-established by the warehouse teams.
  • Manage on-site customer inventory for spare parts where applicable.
  • Manage pricing for Ecofit scope including but not limited to internal and external supplier pricing.
  • Ensure timely invoicing processes are implemented with suppliers to prevent credit issues and concerns, as well as addressing credit challenges.
  • Coordinate with Global Supply chain to drive cost optimization activities - logistics and inventory.
  • Drive continuous improvement with Global Supply Chain organization (Monthly Performance Reviews, management of complaint requests, Acknowledgement Rates, Past Due Rates).
  • Collaborate with Field Service Execution leadership to understand barriers and drive improvement on the procurement and purchasing strategy.
  • Ownership of the factors revolving upstream actions impacting downstream activities for Ecofit scope and ensuring escalation through the overall supply chain and procurement/purchasing organization on forecast, prioritization and GSC escalation.
  • Manages the relationships between the purchasing organization and plant manufacturing operations.
  • Works directly with West Chester product development and engineering teams to support sourcing activities and supplier selection processes.
  • Negotiate, establish and manage supplier contracts. Ensure suppliers are compliant with regulatory requirements and expectations.
  • Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, and procurement activities.
  • Work with Global Supply Chain to manage optimum FSL stocking levels in support of Power, ASCO, and Secure Power Services Businesses.

Key Competencies
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain with 3-5 years of work experience in a Service/Plant environment considered.
  • Procurement experience is required.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Experience with Lean Methodology deployment (supply chain, logistics, procurement).
  • Solid understanding of Service delivery and what constitutes a typical service lifecycle.
  • Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to comfortably interact with customers and employees representing various levels of the Services organization, often in stressful situations.
  • Ability to operate in a decision-making capacity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player, who listens well and carefully considers their actions before initiating them.
  • Ability to organize large groups of people and effectively deliver information in an impactful way.
  • Willingness to contribute in a hands-on capacity as needed to help the team.
  • Strong expertise in the use of Word, Excel, Power Point.
