The Sr. Director, Managed Care Solutions designs and leads the strategic growth and operations of the ProviderPay and McKesson Reimbursement Advantage solutions. This role will lead the customer engagement, product roadmap, and financial goals for these solutions. As an integral part of the Payer Solutions leadership team, this position will develop the vision, strategy, and scope for the value-add solutions to ensure best-in-class operations are in place, as well as building meaningful customer relationships and strategic partnerships to grow and retain market-share.

Responsibilities include:

Strategic planning to develop and continuously evolve a unique, high-functioning, and customer-first operations fully focused on providing premier products and services and financial success
Enhance and continuously improve internal and external processes contributing to a high-quality customer experience
Develop and deploy strategic product roadmaps incorporating product knowledge, competitive analytics, and market dynamics
Partner with leadership team to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans and measures to drive and evaluate program short- and long-term goals
Financial planning and management for programs including collaboration in the development of budgets as well as additional costs of implementing any projects or enhancements
Represent the value-add payer solutions to all external stakeholders

Strategy: creates and executes strategic direction of value-add solutions. Identifies, scopes and manages strategic projects end-to-end; maintains responsibility for deliverables and timelines, shifting priorities as needed; manages stakeholder relationships and expectations. Ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization, promote ideas and proposals persuasively. Collaborates and engages the right resources to design and develop short- and long-term plans to drive customer, financial, and operational successes.

Operations: leads cross-functional teams to drive business objectives. Facilitates business problem solving and offer recommendations to senior leaders. Establish, enhance, and monitor key business operations. Create and communicate operational scorecard to ensure accountability, efficient operations, and delivery of quality programs to all stakeholders.

Customer experience: develop and lead key milestones and strategic goals for value-add solution customer experience. Ensure the broader business unit customer experience is supported through strategic partnerships and initiatives

Financial: responsible for P&L for value-add solutions. Understands and contributes to the financial planning, budgeting, and capital allocation in the context of strategic planning to maximize shareholder value.

Engagement: Builds trust and productive relationships with team members and stakeholders across the organization. Influences and gains acceptance of others to one's ideas through effective communication, relevant and insightful analyses, and creative thinking. Acts as thought partner in strategic discussions even outside of own organization.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 13+ years of professional experience and 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience)

Education

Bachelor's degree in business management or related field, or equivalent experience

Critical Skills

6+ years diversified leadership experience
13+ years business process / business operations experience
Solid understanding of managed care and pharmacy revenue cycle management
General pharmacy operations experience preferred
Product management experience or familiarity with technical product development methodologies
Relationship building skills and ability to articulate McKesson's managed care solutions value proposition to customers
Strong strategic and critical thinking capabilities
Ability to identify and grow talent
Team oriented with the ability to drive McKesson culture

Additional Skills

Managed care, accounts receivable, SaaS management, pharmacy revenue cycle management, general pharmacy operations knowledge or experience preferred

Salary:156,000.00 - 208,000.00 - 260,000.00 USD Annual with 25% MIP

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$156,000 - $260,000
