Responsibilities and Expectations:
We are looking for a skilled Press Operator to perform duties involved with complete operation of a four-post press, quality, production, and safety. Responsibilities may include:
Set up different tooling for different operations for manual press.
Maintain compliance of press job schedule specifications
Assemble & disassemble armatures and tighten comm nuts.
Measure and gauge core measurements and lineups
Monitor quality per specifications.
Maintain daily/weekly maintenance.
Clean press area and keep neat and organized.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Must be a hands-on person capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to use tools including, but not limited to, calipers and gauges.
Mechanical aptitude.
Previous overhead crane/hoist experience preferred.
Employee must be able to lift at least 40lbs.
Employee must be able to push/pull at least 1000lbs.
Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
Able to problem solve and employ trouble-shooting efforts.
Maintain a clean, organized work area.
Follow all safety guideline.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent with course work in skilled crafts or trades training.
