Responsibilities and Expectations:

We are looking for a skilled Stator Winder to join our team. Responsibilities may include:

Ensuring proper coil insulation-meeting customer requirements.
Clean and de-bur stator core.
Insulate and wind stator coil
Braze coil connections
Spray Teflon agent on stator core
Electrically test
Produce quality work to the customer's written specifications
Understanding document center and how to properly utilize the system.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies:

Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Must be a hands-on person capable of working in a fast pace environment that is very meticulous in nature, requiring attention to detail, and repetitive.
Must be willing to work additional hours when required.
Must have knowledge of shop math including the ability to use standard and metric systems, and the ability to read scales and weights is required. Knowledge of electricity is preferred.
Must have correct placement of materials when winding.
Ability to read blue prints and follow customer specifications.
Must be able to read in English.

Physical Requirements:

Position may require lifting of up to 50 lbs.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand (majority of time), reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and walk.
The employee is frequently required to use their hand to write and handle objects or controls in a repetitive motion to wind.
