We are searching for a qualified candidate to lead our BAS department and take its growth to the next level. Managing an applications engineering and project manager group, you will have the opportunity, upon the attainment of departmental and corporate goals, to receive quarterly performance bonuses in addition to your base salary. Primary Function:

Plan, organize and direct all department activities. Responsible for achievement of overall corporate objectives at the departmental level.

 

Responsibilities include:

  1. Develop and implement strategies, goals and plans to achieve departmental growth and profitability.
  2. Monitor, review and manage to departmental key performance indicators (KPI's).
  3. Determine scope of department work activities or projects, job objectives, schedules, and personnel assignments.
  4. Schedule, assign and direct the work of department staff. Responsible for personnel transactions including but not limited to, hiring, performance reviews, transfers, promotions, etc.
  5. Monitor quality and quantity of work performed by staff. Develop departmental standards and procedures and ensure compliance.
  6. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Regularly evaluate efficiency of existing procedure and apply improvements where necessary.
  7. Provide technical assistance and guidance for departmental staff as needed.
  8. Maintain liaison with other departments to achieve overall corporate goals and objectives.
  9. Assume additional responsibilities as directed.

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:

Educational and experience requirements include: 4 year degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education, plus extensive experience (minimum 10 years) working with HVAC, building automation systems, and computer hardware/software. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software. Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS:

Valid Driver's License
OSHA 30
Alerton Certified Engineer (ACE)
Tridium (NiagaraAX, Niagara4 Technical, Niagara4 Advanced Level II)
