Job Designation

The Electronics Engineer 1 provides Electrical Engineering expertise for all phases of product development from design through production. Applies knowledge of both electrical and mechanical engineering in various aspects of the development of components and control systems.

Job Core Responsibilities

* Provides Electrical Engineering expertise in designing, testing, maintaining and improving components or products

* Solves technical problems using a combination of analysis, experience and precedents

* Applies knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering in the development of components and control systems

* Manages project documentation, analyzes data and creates reports

* Communicates technical information to others in a clear and effective manner

* Uses independent judgment to evaluate and solve technical problems

* Other responsibilities as assigned

* Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

Job Specifications

Education: Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical or Electronic)
Years' Experience: 0 - 2 years of engineering experience

Skills:

* Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering

* Excellent ability to apply a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving

* Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management tools

This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident ["green card" holders], or have refugee or asylee status).
