Job Description

Essential Functions

Planning System Functionality - - Responsible to ensure correct finished goods material levels are sustained thru proper planning functions. Ensure planning process of workorders/inbound materials from intercompany are fulfilling customer orders and safety stock requirements. Report/Successfully communicate accurate backorder fulfillment dates to customer service and shipping departments. Work with Purchasing department to proactively secure materials needed for orders. Communicate with Manufacturing facility and planning to ensure material is shipping up to Baltic on time.

Inventory Management - Ensuring compliance to targets in the following areas: inventory levels, inventory turns, Excess & Obsolete material, Finished goods and raw inventory inflow and usage as well as Cycle counts.

Inventory Control - Ensure inventory accuracy by maintaining /monitoring accurate inventory transactions, adjustments, receipts, BOM accuracy, and cycle counts. Maintain healthy cycle count program and review of excess/obsolete material.

Receiving Department- oversee and manage receiving department. Ensure proper, accurate, and timely receipts of incoming material are performed. Work with Purchasing departments to maintain timely scheduling of inbound container deliveries of international goods and ensure/facilitate Cross dock program to Brownsville location while optimizing freight.

Comments

Individual must be able to work as a team player to achieve overall optimization of the above listed factors. Communication and strong teamwork are essential to this role. Must be a self-starter and be able to identify improvement opportunity areas, develop and implement solutions. Must be dedicated to customer service- external and internal.

Must maintain focus to achieve the above listed general and essential functions. Education

An Associates degree (2 years) in business or other technical disciplines is preferred and or manufacturing experience in production planning/materials of 5 years.

Experience/Skills Required

At least five years' experience in the above-mentioned areas Education
