The Document Control Specialist:


Maintains manufacturing records including record control and data entry into database programs.
Coordinates data entry and documentation needs with QC for release, discards and product holds.
Performs lot progression functions through database in coordination with Lot Processing needs.
Archives documents through scanning or hard copy storage including donor char archive.
Interacts with external and internal customers to satisfy document needs.
Manages shipment of cultures and records between Solvita facilities.
Compiles records from UNITY Charts Production application.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:


High School diploma or equivalent.
Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions.
Must be guided by the highest level of integrity and people-centered care.
Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) preferred.
Must be able to follow directions and serve as a team member.
Must be able to report numbers accurately and monitor error control.

Work Environment/Physical Activities:


Heavy lifting required.
Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation
