As a Staff Accountant at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including journal entries, fixed asset management, daily cash reconciliation and month end closing processes.

Primary Responsiblities:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
Maintains accounting policy and procedure compliance
Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close processes
Assists with treasury function, maintains and monitors banking activities
Uploads and input month end data into corporate reporting system
Manages month end account reconciliations
Manages fixed assets
Backup for Accounts Payable

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Broad financial knowledge of GAAP
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite required (especially Excel)
Strong attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality required

Requirements Include:

Due to the specific responsibilities of this position, candidates must be U.S. citizens, without dual citizenship
Broad general knowledge of all accounting/financial functions
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
Minimum of 1 - 3 years of previous accounting/financial experience
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) regulations
Experience with Government Contracts preferred
Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable preferred
