Assessment Coordinator

Summary:

Responsible for managing data, academic course and exam scheduling and logistics. This role will produce and distribute reports related to all online exams for each of the University’s colleges and will provide support for projects pertaining to online examination deployment and other emerging educational data analysis needs of the Assessment unit within the Office of Academic Services. 

 

Principal Functional Responsibilities:

Online Examination Administration: Administer the online examination software system for the medical, pharmacy and graduate studies curricula including exam proctoring (in-person and virtual), proctor scheduling and recruitment, exam software troubleshooting and assisting with posting processes. Communicates exam logistics among students/faculty Academic Space Scheduling: Manages approval for scheduling of all academic space with respect to exam and course locations, ensuring there are no major curriculum activity conflicts in scheduling exams. As appropriate coordinates campus space/facilities reservations for all academic calendaring/scheduling. Reporting and Inventory Control: Assemble, generate and report data associated with grade reports or remediations in coordination with faculty. Conducts equipment inventory to ensure all computers are in proper working order and sufficient numbers of available equipment for all exam needs. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

• High School diploma plus two years of college coursework (associate’s degree).

• Minimum 3 years’ related work experience in an administrative / department coordinator role.

• Writing and editing skills. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience in higher education

 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.
