Daily Cleaning

 

Children Areas ~~~

 

Units / Class-Rooms & Support Areas

 

  1. Trash Containers - empty & reline /wet wipe exterior (wash interior & exterior as needed)
  2. Furniture (desk, tables, book shelves and all other flat surfaces) – detail wet wipe tops, sides & bottoms
  3. Chairs & benches - damp wipe body & frames
  4. Hi-Dusting - removing cob-webs from corners, ceiling fixtures & vents
  5. Lo-Dusting - removing dust, debris & cob-webs (furniture, baseboards, corners & behind doors)
  6. Doors, door-knobs & door framing – damp wipe to sanitize / dry
  7. Wall accessories (window sills, shelves, ledges, picture frames, etc...) - damp wipe
  8. Dispensers – damp wipe, refilled & maintain
  9. Walls – damp/wet wipe removing spots, spills, etc.… (as they occur)
  10. Glass Doors & Panels – clean & maintain daily (exterior when weather permits)
  11. Tile flooring – sweep out corners & edges / dust & wet mopping

 

Bathrooms

 

  1. Dispensers refill daily (toilet tissue, paper towels & hand soap)
    1. Clean & polish dry
    2. Damaged dispensers will be recorded & reported maintenance
  2. Sinks & Fixtures – clean / sanitary & polish dry
  3. Showers – spray cleaned & rinse (walls & flooring)
  4. Toilets (clean & sanitize) –  interior / exterior (including fixtures) & dry
  5. Partitions, Doors, Push Plates & Ledges (adjacent) – wet wipe to clean
  6. Mirrors – clean & polish dry
  7. Hi-dusting - removing cob-webs and debris
  8. Floors – sweep, giving attention to corners/edges & wet mop
    1. Using and/or having WET FLOOR SIGNS in place

General Areas ~~~

 Offices / Conference & Support Areas / Waiting & Open Common Areas

 

  1. Trash - empty containers & reline as needed
  2. Containers - wet wipe exterior (wash interior when needed)
  3. Hi-dusting - removing cob-webs from corners, ceiling fixtures & vents
  4. Furniture (desk, tables & chairs) – detail damp wipe (including body, frames & bottoms))
  5. Wall Accessories (window sills, shelves, ledges, picture frames, etc…) - damp wipe/dust
  6. Glass surfaces – clean & maintain / on both sides (when possible)
  7. Water Dispensers – wet wipe to sanitize & dry
  8. Carpeted floors & Runners – vacuum
  9. Detail vacuuming - weekly (moving items, going underneath & behind)
  10. Tile floors – dust mop, sweeping out corners & edges, wet mopping
  11. Doors, framings & door-knobs – damp wipe / dry
  12. Walls – damp wipe removing spots, spills, etc. (as they occur)
  13. Lo-dusting - removing dust, debris & cob-webs (furniture, baseboards, corners & behind doors)

 

Restrooms

 

  1. Trash Containers – empty, reline, wet wipe exterior
  2. Dispensers (toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap, toilet seat covers, etc.)
    1. Clean/sanitize & polish dry
    2. Replenish (check to refilled)
    3. Damaged dispensers will be recorded & reported to maintenance
  3. Sinks & Fixtures – detail clean / sanitary (polish dry)
  4. Cabinet Fronts & Counter Tops – wet wipe to clean & sanitize / dry
  5. Mirrors & Wall-Accessories – clean/sanitary/polish dry
  6. Toilets & Urinals (clean & sanitize) – scrub interior / detail exterior (including fixtures) & polish dry
  7. Walls Areas (adjacent to toilets, sinks & trash containers) – wet wipe to clean & sanitize (removing spills & spots)
  8. Partitions, Doors & Push Plates – clean & sanitary/ dry
  9. Window Sills, etc. - damp wipe/ hi-dusting to remove cob-webs, etc…
  10. Floors – sweep and/or dust mop then wet mopping to sanitize

 

Kitchenettes & Coffee Areas

 

  1. Trash Containers – empty & reline / wet wipe exterior & wash interior as needed
  2. Sinks – clean and/or scrubbing to remove stains /sanitize including fixtures & report damaged fixtures
  3. Counter Tops – wet wipe clean/sanitize moving item for a complete cleaning
  4. Cabinets & Wall Accessories – wet wipe down fronts & sides / dry
  5. Flat Surfaces (tables, chairs & window sills) – wet wipe all surfaces (tops & frames) / dry
  6. Appliances (refrigerators, microwave (interior) & coffee maker) – damp wipe exterior/polish dry
  7. Dispensers – replenish and check daily to maintain / clean exterior & polish dry
  8. Water Dispenser – clean/sanitize exterior/dry
  9. Walls & Doors – clean to remove spots, spills, etc./dry
    1. Door Knobs & Push-Plates – Clean to sanitize daily / polish dry
  10. Floors ---
    1. Tile - sweep and wet mop
    2. Carpet – sweeping out corners & edges / vacuum

 

Stairwells / Hallways & Entry Areas

 

  1. Hallways –--
    1. Wall-Accessories – damp wipe to remove dust & debris
    2. Walls – spot wipe removing spots & spills
    3. Ceiling & Baseboards - hi/lo-dusting removing cob-webs, dust & debris
    4. Dust mop / extra attention sweeping out edges & corners
    5. Wet mopping (to remove spills/spots/etc…)
    6. Runners/matts – sweeping to detail clean & wet mop and/or vacuuming
  2. Stairs & Landings –--
    1. Sweep down, cleaning out corners & edges / wet mop
    2. Hand Rails – wet wipe to clean/sanitize
    3. Lower Railings – damp dust to remove dust & debris
    4. Runners/matts – sweeping to detail clean & wet mop and/or vacuuming
  3. Entry Doors – cleaning glass on both sides (when weather permits) / damp wipe wooden doors & framing
