Position: Staff Engineer

Location: Cleveland, OH

We are looking for a Staff Engineer to join our Civil Site Group in our Columbus, OH office. Our ideal candidate will be a motivated and hardworking individual who is looking for experience on exciting projects and wants to find a place to grow a career. This person will be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment. This Staff Engineer will be expected to work with a Project Manager and other staff, to drive the design on a variety of Civil/Site Development projects. In this position you will need to be able to think quickly on your feet and be an exceptional problem solver.


Responsibilities




Design site layouts
Perform grading and drainage design
Permitting of commercial and residential site development projects
Road and utility design
Hydrologic/hydraulic analysis
Other duties as assigned


Qualifications




Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related degree
2 or more years of experience in site development, grading and drainage design, or hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Ability to handle multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
Ability to effectively communicate, both written & verbally, at all levels of the organization
