Job Description

SRC Inc. is currently seeking an Engineer to support our Engineering team on-base at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The candidate will work closely with our customer the AFRL's Sensors Directorate Spectrum Warfare systems engineering branch (AFRL/RYWD) in support of the Virtual Combat Laboratory (VCL).

What You'll Do

Act as Lead Engineer in the VCL to guide the technical direction of the VCL IPT
Interface with government customer to ensure mission accomplishment
Provide technical expertise to the IPT to include mentoring, training and advice to the junior engineers
Desing experiments and Test Matrices for the VCL Model and Simulation scenarios
Interface with VCL customers to decompose requirements and desired test outcomes
Brief test reports and explain data analysis of test results
Develop scripts to create analysis algorithms and enhance efficiency

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Engineering or other technical degree and 8+ years of relevant experience
Experience with programming languages MATLAB, Python, C, C++, FORTRAN, JMP, SAS, Gitlab, and Supressor
Experience writing Technical reports
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; strong interpersonal, and organizational skills; strong written, and oral communication skills
Fluent in Microsoft Office tools
Knowledgeable in Linux OS
Experience operating in lab facilities between 1 and 4 TRL (test readiness level)
Modeling and simulation experience
An active TS/SCI clearance is required

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Dayton, OH is estimated at $111,000 to $152,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
