Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - General, Dialysis, Mental Health
Location: Toledo, OH 43608
Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Days Off: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
Duration: At least 1 year from projected start date
Hours per Week: 40
Role & Responsibilities:
Conducting rounds, assessing patient care needs, and developing care plans.
Administering medications, including narcotics.
Providing direct nursing care and performing specialized procedures .
Leading and organizing the “Code Blue” team
Supervising healthcare staff (LPNs, hospital aides) during assigned shifts
Assisting physicians with diagnostic evaluations
Performing clerical and administrative tasks such as.
Occasional instructional or training duties.
Physical Requirements:
Must be comfortable working in an all-male facility.
Ability to frequently climb and descend stairs (2-story building).
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
Licensure: Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Certifications: Healthcare-level CPR certification.
Experience: Previous experience in a correctional or healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
