What you will do:

  • Provide chemical dependency intakes, screenings and assessments.
  • Provide individual and group counseling.
  • Orient new clients to the agency's treatment philosophy.
  • Provide crisis interventions, as needed.
  • Perform clinical record keeping.
  • Provide client and family education.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Chemical Dependency or related field is highly desired.
  • Licensed as an CDCA, LICDC, LCDC III, or LCDC II through the Ohio CDP Board OR licensed as a LSW or CT through the Ohio CSWMFT Board is required.
  • The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience with AOD population is preferred, as well as previous residential experience.
  • A demonstrated knowledge of addiction, Alcoholics Anonymous and other 12-step programs, assessments, treatment plans, and individual/group counseling is highly desired!

NON-EXEMPT EMPLOYEE / HOURLY

 

Employment Type: PRN (on-call)

 

Education Level Required:  High school diploma or equivalent, Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, Chemical Dependency Counseling Assistant (CDCA) Certification

 

Other Requirements:

  • Extensive sitting, lifting capacity: light to 20lbs
  • Valid Driver’s License


Wage: $16.00-$20.00/hour

 

Pre-Employment Testing:  Criminal Background, Drug Testing, Driving Record check

 

Availability:
Sunday-Saturday; Rotating/Split
