You must be a student currently enrolled in an Engineering program to be considered for this role.

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Engineering Team, the Engineering Co-op will assist with designing and maintaining reliable and safe production systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, cost, and reducing downtime. The Engineering Co-op is driven to assist with identifying, developing, and delivering innovative solutions while maintaining and improving safety & quality standards.

Qualifications:

Must be currently attending a university pursuing a related field of study.
Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results.
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Excellent written & verbal communication.
Assertive approach to solving problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and mitigate areas of top loss within the production equipment.
Assist with process improvement initiatives and design projects.
Collect and analyze production/equipment data to predict trends.
Create detailed specifications for equipment and other production related processes or methods including process flow diagrams, CAD drawings, etc.
Lead internal and customer facing meetings.
Engage with continuous improvement initiatives.
Deliver projects on time and within agreed upon budget requirements.
Initiate Management of Change (MOC) per requirements
Conduct training, coordinate communication and update/develop documentation prior to process implementation.
Develop engineering specifications that include appropriate EHS&S & RC14001 considerations.
Other duties as assigned.
