SSOE is seeking an AI Integration Project Co-op for Summer 2025.


Responsibilities




The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Each person is expected to help out in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

Performs assigned tasks under close supervision of Department Manager or designee. Receives specific and detailed instruction.
Work under a Project Lead/Sponsor to develop the projects collaboratively.
Involve Stakeholders and organize meetings with SME's (Subject Matter Experts) to facilitate the development of the AI tools relevant to the AEC industry.
Creating detailed workflow and process flow diagrams of the different proposed algorithms.
Work on RAG and custom Data retrieval of AEC knowledge from a dataset/database.
Implement Fine Tuning of AI models based on proprietary Data.
Develop a tool to extract relevant data from engineering calculation program. The work will also involve Testing and Validation and implementing feedback from Engineers.
Woking with Azure cloud, SharePoint and Microsoft technologies to deploy scalable solutions for the Enterprise.
Working with Customers and End Stakeholders (Architects and Engineers) for testing and validation of the Tools.
Learn and apply various SharePoint Technologies and implement data extraction through SharePoint and Data Lake.
Creating a workflow for seamless backchecking and document comparison.
Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.


Qualifications




Students must be enrolled in a ABET accredited engineering school or technically related discipline.
Rising Junior or Senior academic year preferred.
Must be registered with the Office of Professional Experience Program or equivalent.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Salary range: $20-$23 per hour depending on year in school.
