Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a remote Inside Sales Intern for our Columbus, Ohio location.

As an Inside Sales Intern for Kimball Midwest, you will be given the tools to succeed through comprehensive one-on-one training, supportive management, and a personalized development and sales plan. As an integral part of the inside sales team, you will primarily focus on developing new customer relationships as well as continuously developing existing relationships. You will work on Team accounts or have your own territory in this role. You will have the opportunity to learn how to penetrate and grow sales accounts by using various techniques including leveraging promotional programs, product sampling, and outbound digital marketing. The ideal candidate will fully embrace our Two-Customer Philosophy and will be highly motivated to succeed.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field ( e.g. Business, Business Administration )
Has strong communication skills
Is self-motivated with a desire to succeed
Is confident with a strong craving to continuously learn new things
Can stay focused and organized
Customer Service/and or Sales experience is a huge plus
Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Microsoft Teams
High School diploma or equivalent
Additional Information
The hours are 8:00am- 5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm Monday- Friday.
This is a remote role located in Columbus Ohio.
