Creative Services Marketing Co-Op

About the Job

The Performance Coatings Group's Creative Services team is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Co-op to support our project management, design, content and video/photo teams. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a creative and collaborative environment, contributing to a variety of exciting projects across the industrial coatings market.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.

Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination:


Assist in the setup of new projects in the project management system
Update project tasks and statuses regularly
Organize and manage working project files
Take and reconcile meeting notes to ensure clear communication

Creative Support:


Purchase and manage stock photos as needed
Proofread and support content creation tasks

Event & Production Assistance:


Provide support for the annual Sales Meeting
Assist with local video and photo shoots

SharePoint and Digital Tools Coordination:


Manage software tools such as Frame and SharePoint
Update and maintain metadata and tagging for content libraries

Qualifications

Required Skills


Must be actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent
Availability to work long term (9-12 months)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools

Preferred Skills


Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred
Experience with project management software
Familiarity with design and content creation tools
Familiarity with Associated Press Style Guide

WORK SCHEDULE:


Monday through Friday: must be able to work 37.5 hours per week during the summer and 15-20 hours per week while in school
Hybrid: This position is eligible to work in the office three days a week and has the option to work remotely two days a week.
Position to begin mid-July 2025

This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa.
