Carter Machine Co. is a designer and manufacturer of custom, heavy-duty hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders used in industries such as steel mills and baler equipment. Carter Machine is a leader in this industry and has been in business since 1941.
Skills needed:
- Strong math skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes
- Ability to optimize and streamline manufacturing processes for optimal output
- Ability to evaluate tooling requirements
- Ability to review jobs for correct flow and processes
- Must have a strong ability to work with and learn from others
Candidate must satisfactorily pass pre-employment screening, random drug and alcohol testing, & criminal background check.
Salary/Benefits:
Job Type: Full-time
1st Shift - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (with some overtime as needed)
