Finance Communications Year-Round Intern

About the Job

The Sherwin-Williams Finance internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in Sherwin Business Services (SBS).

The internship features a singular SBS Operations experience, where you'll learn how Change Management is leveraged to support a global Finance and HR organization

You will gain meaningful exposure to Change Management best practices and how they are developed and employed to support projects and initiatives across a global Finance and HR organization.

This internship program is scheduled to begin June 2025 and designed to be a year in duration.

This role's schedule is typically between 15-28 hours per week during the school year, and 37.5 hours per week during the summer (M-F 8:30 AM - 5PM).

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.


Assist with the drafting, editing, and proofreading of professional communications including emails, user guides, FAQs, intranet site content, training resources, newsletters, and presentation materials
Support the SBS Operations team with creation and maintenance of databases, SharePoint sites, PowerPoint presentations, process and procedure documentation, and training/corporate videos
Assist with the collection, uploading, and maintenance of process and procedure documentation to ensure quality standards and practices are consistent, up-to-date and available to our global network of employees

Minimum Requirements


Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
Must be enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or other business-related fieldsat the time of the internship
Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including overtime as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications


Be a rising or current Junior or Senior in college or university at the start of the internship program
Have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook)
Have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc.
Previous experience in the Sherwin-Williams Corporate Finance Internship Program
